About SAE Ltd

SAE Ltd is a civil engineering consultancy based in Napier, working across the North Island. We specialise in stormwater design, flood assessment, three waters infrastructure, and subdivision engineering. Clients include developers, planners, architects, surveyors, and local authorities.

Established in 2021, every project is handled directly by Andre Magdich CPEng. No junior staff, no handoffs. You deal with the engineer who signs the report.

Chartered Professional Engineer with 15+ years experience and 300+ completed projects across New Zealand. Specialising in stormwater, flood modelling, subdivision infrastructure, and construction supervision. CPEng registered since 2023.

What Sets Us Apart

• You deal with the engineer directly. Every design decision, council response, and report is handled by Andre personally.
• Proven under real conditions. Two of Andre's flood designs were tested by Cyclone Gabrielle in 2023. Both held. The stopbank held with minimal erosion and the assessed building sites stayed dry.
• We find cheaper solutions. At Henderson Line, Marton, we replaced a $700,000 culvert design with a $100,000 pipe system that delivered the same capacity. That saved the client $600,000.
• Same standard, every project. Whether it is a 2-lot infill or a 90-lot subdivision, every project gets the same level of engineering and CPEng sign-off.
